This week, i think it is time to welcome an old
player of mume, who recently has started playing mortals again.
Avitar (Vm-Retired) lives in Canada. He was gone for a
whole year, but now he is back again, getting aquainted with the stuff
that has changed here over the long years. He also shared some of his
thoughts about the difference of mume now, and back then. Of course,
mume was small at the beginning- when Avitar came to mume, there was
only Tharbad, Fornost, Bree, Shire.. and it was all in non-complete
stage. As for the people who played .. there seemed to be much more
'community' back then. People didn't stick to themselves, or only their
labs, and help was easy to get - no-one let you down. As for Avitar
himself - he used to have a char that he played only for helping other
people out of the trouble. He also remembers that back then, orcs coming
west was a Huge Thing, it rarely happened and everyone was so excited
about it. As for now, he is testing out the changes that were made
awhile.. and thinks it is as addicting as it was back then, certainly a
good
sign. And
he thinks that
besides the crafting of the game, areas, mobs - people themselves, and their
characteristics are those, that make this so interesting.
- As you remember, I announced a .cz mume
meeting that took place a week ago. Here is the list of people
that took part in it: Ishant(the organizer), Aremir, Bulvius,
Taras, Eporedax, Fragir, Kostihrys, Dunny, Rebeka, Shake, Thorson,
Tukanek, Kuku and Cohen. All mume players
should be very very scared because they spent the whole weekend planning
new strategies and tips (we'll have to see about that!
-Liliah). Although the place was crowded, there was
noone from Olomouc city (Ozon, Smrtihlav, Elestir,
Pampalini). Ishant
thinks that a weekend away from the mume was too much of them,
and they decided to better camp in their lab.. And more good news - when the pictures are
ready, we hang them up on this site!
- Did you know that even mume has its inner
families? I'd like you to meet Papa Ajax, Mama
Rut and their son Badin, who is
currently grounded for next two weeks because he didn't do his homework.
So - no trip to Bree with his friends, this week.
- Burb and Lehto are also supposed
to get married in mume but they have a hard relationship because Burb
likes to see other people too - and this causes jealousy acts for Lehto.
Rumours say Burb has been seen talking with Wryak
a
lot..
- As Ragface is spending his birthday on this
friday, he has decided to leave town, and take his wife to Riga, Latvia
to have a birthday celebration there. They will return home on late
Sunday evening.
- Good news to you, who like the cows on mume (for
whatever reasons it may be) - a healthy cow has now been shaped into a
well fed cow, since the prompt "Healthy cow: Dying>" was not quite
right.
- Player of Dur is back on mume, and seems he is
playing again, mostly seen as Trapano
- Birthdays: Ragface and
Roadkill both on 26th of Oct. and Thror
on 31th Oct.

the MUME-players. Since time has gone by, interests have changed,
