As the LotR film has run in many cinemas for
some time now, mume seems to have welcomed a lot more newbies
than before. As many have talked about this before: yes, there
will be more questions and more cluelessness, but lets still give a
warm welcome to those new, that have decided to visit the game, and maybe even stay.
- There has also been a few changes in the
highest-char-list. Ragface has jumped up two levels in
last week, and Norsu has also gained one level, after a
successful Moria trip. Zaber was level 71 a few days
ago, but as he died in an unfortunate way, he also lost a level. So currently he is
focusing on playing some of his other chars.
- As the Istari-quest
re-creation seems to be a talking issue lately, I'd have to agree with
most of it. Just yesterday when i was trying to exp up one of my
countless newbies and was resting in the Grey Havens, an Istari in Eagle
form came, and tried to kill me, along with other newbies. So much for the helping Istari. Some say that it is a
bit too much of a fuss to make an Istari to just
read some boards.. but hey - there is no such thing called
'a free lunch'.
- As for the past year... in November
Relim met Dliador. He calls him by
nick Irish. They met up in London, in a nice bar what owner Relim also
knows.. They spent a fortune on Stella and got totally plastered,
talking about football and politics even too much. Mume came up a bit as
a discussion, but as the two guys both got a little pissed on the
subject, they wisely ditched it. As the time flew, Relim missed his
train and they decided to go to a 'gentlemen' club which owner also he
knew, and played pool until one of them couldnt even see straight
anymore. Since Relim had nowhere else to stay, and since it seemed like
a really good idea at the time, he ended up crashing in Donal's(Dliador)
room, in the spare bed. Unfortunately, his wife was also staying there
(not in the spare bed!)... real cosy. You can imagine what she thought of the drunk irishman and
the drunk englishman in the morning - and who could blame her? She was
actually rather cool about it. Anyway, now
Relim can claim, with some authenticity, that he has slept with Donal and his wife.
