• There was an Iowa Mume-meet organized by Aschit but pictures and stories from the event haven't been forthcoming.
• The Golden Scale, home of the METE Merchants guild opened with much fanfare and an auction in Bree. Those attending were treated to food, drink and a chance to get to know the METE merchants and see their wares.
• The King of Narrate-Spam, player Velgular, has decided to take an Istari quest after 8 years of playing the game. However the name of his Istar remains a secret.
• A few changes were made in the Shire, seems the hobbits expanded into a few more homes.
• More and more Mumers can be found on the online football game Hattrick. The second Hattrick Mume Cup is now in its second week.
• Recent ArgleBargle discussions have revealled that players love their Music and Pie (IC and RL)...and often enjoy both while playing MUME.
• Lomion's All-Century Team discussion, is showing some ER posters to have great memories, others have become entirely senile and left the bulk of the group feeling really young!
• Huge game lags are over. The game is in it's best shape with new machine.
• The question was raised, "Is it ever ok to mobkill someone?" when a group carried out their version of dark-side justice mobkilling a known same-sider.
• A little late news, but can't leave it out. Players Everminda and Fergus reported: "We had our second son born 16th February 2004. His name is Alexander Rhys and we are all doing fine". Congratulations go to blessed MUME family!
• Smrtihlav has beaten Diamonium with 200K more TPs and owns the place in our TPs table now.
• Whine update: On dark side again. Have you noticed the amount of fine chain hanging in the store of Kormock? But he just refuses to resize it for you! When the equipment hoarding times seems to pass, welcome to the new millennium of Gold and Silver! You might get that rich to afford the luxury stuff they sometimes are selling in stores. Tarkhnarb Orcs are worse cave rats than Trolls!
• Level updates: Lowyn Aradan the last Rider of Calenardhon has gained one level to 82. No levelling on half-elven side, but Zaber Weed, Hoes, Dough - Old[NSL]School has been unretired.
• Our rocking star player Stormblast is on tour with his extreme-metal band Manatark at the moment. And that's not it! They were the official warm-up band for Norwegian black-metal legend Mayhem. The first side of Mayhem Tour in Europe started on 8. • A power outage at the server location had ElvenRunes down for an entire weekend. Thankfully quick work by Axel and Utu got everything back up and running the following Monday.
• About 20 brightly decorated Easter eggs were dropped on Arda, Easter Sunday. Many who do not celebrate the Holiday liked finding the little gems which turned out to be real eggs, decorated.
